Description

One day, the events of time and space will come to a halt, making way for eternity. The end of everything will mark a new beginning. God’s work with the human race—past and present—has been a series of new beginnings. And at every stage, the Trinity remains at the very heart of it all, for the Father’s relationship with his Son and his Spirit is the foundation of God’s relationship with us.

Donald Fairbairn is Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Union School of Theology, and Robert E. Cooley Professor of Early Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the author of Life in the Trinity: An Introduction to Theology with the Help of the Church Fathers.
